Inclusive card games, played with your eyes.
Gaze Games is an inclusive, fully accessible card gaming experience designed specifically for people who rely on eye-gaze technology to use a computer. Every interaction in the app — from drawing a card to choosing trump — can be performed entirely with the eyes, using a dwell-based selection system. A user simply holds their gaze on a target; a progress ring fills, and the target is activated automatically. No clicks, taps, or fine motor control are required.
The suite currently features two classic card games: Klondike Solitaire, with both a traditional Manual mode and a simplified Auto mode that moves selected cards to their best valid position, and Euchre, a trick-taking partnership game playable against computer opponents. Each game is wrapped in a responsive, non-scrolling layout that scales to fit any screen, and offers adjustable dwell timing, card sizes, and high-contrast visuals so players can tailor the experience to their needs and comfort.
Gaze Games is built for eye-gaze users of all ages and abilities — including players living with ALS, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, or any condition that limits hand movement — who deserve the same casual, social, and cognitive enjoyment that card games bring to everyone else. The app also includes a real-time presence system so players can see who else is online, and per-user statistics to track wins and losses over time. Gaze Games is developed by an independent team passionate about accessibility, assistive technology, and the belief that play is a right, not a privilege. We welcome feedback and ideas from the community we serve.
